Part I:
Three of the personalities,
Lord Cowdray (C6), Don Luis Terrazas (C7), and William Randolph Hearst (C8),
had an enhanced historical starting prestige. However, in the game their
positions are rather limited compared to other players. Thus, it is
recommended that these three players start the game with a stature of one instead of
zero.
Part II:
This part may be used with or without the above.
When the C9 Alexander Shepherd is chosen as a starting hacendado, he should also
be granted the mine which is adjacent to his hacienda as this was part of the estate
historically. The mine is uncapitalized but may be started at the C9 player's
discretion.
